Shakestail III:  My Doghouse for a Bone

Thanks to all who helped make this year's Shakestail Dog Festival a success.  It was great to see so many dogs and their people participate in the various contests and workshops!!

Proceeds from the 3rd Annual Shakestail Dog Festival will go to Friends of DARE Network.

Friends of DARE Network is a Stratford organization that supports DARE Network, a community based organization on the Thai/Burma border. DARE Network provides prevention education and treatment for the substance abuse that occurs as a result of the profound losses and prolonged confinement in refugee camps that the ethnic people of Burma have endured. DARE Network was founded by Stratford citizen Pam Rogers who has worked in the refugee camps for 10 years. Friends of DARE Network is run in Stratford by volunteers; all funds raised by Friends of DARE go directly to the beneficiaries.
